Snapshot: Adria

On the Dalmatian coast of Croatia, I fell in love with the Adria (Jadran) – the calm, blue, natural beauty.
From childhood memories, to first adventures and tranquil summer vacations, the Adriatic Sea has become a place close to my heart. I calm down, breathe easy. And I am happy that I can capture a little bit of this beauty with my little camera.
Enjoy.

I was dreaming of visiting this city for such a long time.
For me, Lisbon is a perfect mixture of many beautiful Mediterranean cities. Its picturesque viewpoints [miradouros], traditional Portuguese melancholic music [Fado] and narrow cobblestone streets with houses covered in tiles [azulejos] create the unique Lisboa experience.
Here are a few recommendations for you while visiting the city: Mercado da Ribeira (food court bringing together the city’s favorite food shops & restaurants), Embaixada in Príncipe Real (moorish-designed building with concept stores & restaurants), Pharmacia (very cool pharmacy inspired restaurant), Claudio Corallo (quality chocolate & espresso), Noobai Café in Bairro Alto (one of many rooftop bars in Lisbon with relaxed atmosphere). Make sure to visit Alfama for the most beautiful miradouros, Bairro Alto, Chiado, Príncipe Real and Belém (for the one and only Pastéis de Belém).
Have a look at some snapshots I took while traveling the beautiful city of Lisboa.

I travelled to a land far, far away. And it still feels very unreal. After a 24 hour flight you arrive on the other side of the world – Australia.
Life along the coast, endless summer and easy friendliness. Australia is a country blessed with natural wealth and, not surprisingly, happy people.
My highlights of this very special trip: taking my first surf classes in Manly, snorkeling and seeing turtles on the Whitsunday Islands, going on a 4WD tour on Fraser Island and soaking up the sun while eating the best sushi in beautiful Noosa. And on top of that, I was happy to see old friends and make new ones.
After returning, Australia does not feel that far away anymore.
Here are some photographs I took while traveling along the East Coast.

Andalucia

Orange trees, Moorish palaces, white villages, tapas and flamenco – Andalucia has multiple faces and many stories to tell. Known for the beautiful coastline Costa del Sol and Costa de la Luz, Andalucia stood for centuries on the frontier between two different faiths and ideologies. It was here where Christoph Columbus took off to discover America.
Enjoy a few impressions I captured during my roadtrip in Andalucia, discovering the Alhambra in Granada, the cities Sevilla, Cadiz, Vejer de la Frontera and Malaga.
