Shortly before their wedding, we met, had some Maracuja juice and a little chat about their wedding preparations. Immediately, I felt like I already know them. But seeing them on the wedding day made it all sweeter. What a cute couple!
The ceremony was at Palmengarten Frankfurt. Lots of friends and family joined. As this is my third Turkish wedding couple, I feel like I’m ready for a wedding shoot in Istanbul. Anyone? 😉
Tahmine & Gökhan, hope you like the pictures as much as I do!
I totally loved the little purse.
Yes, they jumped into a boat. That’s why I think they’re cool.
There is a…let’s call it phenomenon. Every time young people are proud to be from Frankfurt, they pretend to be dangerous gangstas. Nothing else to say, except: peace out, brothas & sistas! 😉
Rosengarten at Palmengarten is my favourite place for civil wedding ceremonies.
Oh lá lá madamoiselles…
And now, the slideshow:

We used to take our visit to the Zoo and botanic garden (Palmengarten), show them the shopping street Zeil and have many dinners at home. Having good food was very important. That’s how we have been introducing guests to Frankfurt a few years ago together with our parents.
This weekend I was the tour guide for a friend coming from Spain. I decided to show the multicultural & hip side of my city – cafés, bars, restaurants, parties. There was no Zoo, no Palmengarten. But what I learned from my parents: there was lots of very good food.
Here are some impressions I created with my favourite iPhone app INSTAGRAM! Compañero, espero que te gusten las fotos! Hasta prontito!!

One more time I am overwhelmed. I met ELVIRA KIRSCH a year ago and since then we shared lots of interesting and fun adventures. After our polo tournament experience a few weeks ago, this time we climbed up on a Frankfurt rooftop to photograph Elli’s fashion and ANNA DONALLI‘s classy jewellery designs – it was sunny & hot, bright & high above the city of Frankfurt.
Elli & Anna, thank you for this awesome opportunity – spasiba!!
Everybody, enjoy the slideshow:
