{D+P} Schloss Philippsruhe Wedding

September 30, 2011 § 2 Comments

Oh, I think I fell in love with Indian newlyweds (or did they fall in love with me?) In any case, I had the pleasure to photograph another beautiful Indian couple on their very special day.

Great location and people. Dalia & Philip, thank you!

My favourite.

One biiig thank you goes to Philip for being so patient with us girls wanting a never ending portrait session. But look at you – posing like a pro, yes you are.

The civic wedding ceremony was held in the magnificent castle Schloss Philippsruhe in Hanau.

Just married!

Look at those cute girls…and cool guys.

{S+S} Heusenstamm Wedding

September 18, 2011 § 4 Comments

It was rainy – and she was saying: “I don’t care about the weather, I’m marrying the right guy.” He was telling her: “You are beautiful, you look great.” All the time. That’s how in love they are.

Sara and Sony, thank you for being so cute and such a great couple to work with!

Beauty.

Thanks to my amazing Jasmina for this shot – and for trying to make me be more relaxed during a wedding day 🙂

Frankfurt am Main. We had a great after-wedding shoot.

I don’t know about you, but all I am thinking of here is: JAMES BOND.

Sound of Life

September 7, 2011 § 2 Comments

Sometimes the ones, who don’t have everything, give the most.

This weekend the youth group of the association “Hilfe fĂĽr krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt e.V.” (Aid for Children with Cancer) organized a charity concert in honour of the members who had passed away. They also wanted to thank their sponsors, family and friends for all the support they received and create awareness about the obstacles young people with cancer are confronted with in their everyday life.

I would like to quote Marcel, one of the members (currently in therapy). He wrote a poem which reflects what a teenager in this situation may feel (it’s in German):

Leben
dieser Mensch will Leben.

Marcel Fischer

Thank you for having me and sharing your love for life.

The youth group offers young people with cancer, but also their siblings who have lost sisters and brothers through cancer, the possibility of an informal exchange of experiences and support.

Janna and Miriam together with Leo Club Frankfurt and Chris did a great job organizing this event.

The artists performing Full Faya Orchestra, Banjoory, Villian, Toni Leo, Neurath, Los Monteros, Flo2Soul and DJ Dommy Dean made the crowd swing & sing! And not to forget all the other people helping and working for free during this day.

Chris is taking care of the youth group since 1999 and doing a lot of crazy and good things for the kids and teenagers.

This is Kai. He is THE best. He knows everything about cameras, all the technical stuff I don’t even know how to pronounce. He came all the way from south Germany to shoot with me. We had a great time – we exchanged lenses, talked about colours, RAW & JPEG, perspectives – all the nerdy things photography freaks like us like to talk about.

One minute.

Oooh, how I love this picture.

Here comes the slideshow. Enjoy!

Snapshot: Summer

September 2, 2011 § 1 Comment

You know the feeling before vacation starts? You are packing. You are stressed. You go last minute shopping. The second you sit down (car/airplane/train),  you start to relax. Finally.

Driving from Germany to Croatia takes approx. 15 hours. Going there is exciting. Driving back is pure sadness, and it takes forever. Here are some snapshots I took with my favourite iPhone App INSTAGRAM this summer.
